The Strategy page at /app/strategy is your weekly strategic briefing. Beat analyzes your brand profile, content performance, keyword data, and competitive landscape to tell you what to focus on, what to stop, and where your growth opportunities are.

What the Strategy page shows

Reading top to bottom, the Strategy page surfaces:
  • Flywheel Health — Where you are in the Content → Discovery → Audience → Leads → Sales → Authority loop, and which stage has friction
  • Momentum Tracker — How activity (publishing, engagement, traffic) has shifted over the past week
  • Weekly Insights — Beat’s specific Recommended Moves for the week ahead, with a direct link to the relevant page
  • Stop / Start / Continue — Beat’s triage of what to drop, what to add, and what to keep doing
  • Agent Findings — Deeper signals from each agent (brand, SEO, content, performance) — competitive context, content gaps, and patterns Beat has noticed

When the strategy report updates

Beat refreshes your strategy automatically every Monday morning. The new report reflects the past week’s performance data (GA4, GSC) and any changes you’ve made to your Brand Beat or content. To refresh manually at any time, click the Refresh button at the top of the Strategy page. This runs a fresh analysis on demand — useful after a major change to your brand profile or after a content push. Weekly Insights are Beat’s highest-priority actions for the week. Each card shows:
  • The specific action to take
  • Why Beat is recommending it (the strategic rationale)
  • A direct link to the relevant page in UPBEAT OS
Examples of Recommended Moves:
  • “Publish an article targeting the ‘content marketing for founders’ keyword cluster — you have a significant traffic opportunity here”
  • “Your email list hasn’t been contacted in 18 days — send a newsletter this week to keep engagement warm”
  • “Your LinkedIn activity has dropped below your cadence target — schedule 3 posts for this week”
Click the link on any Recommended Move card to jump directly to the relevant page and take action.

Stop / Start / Continue

Beat organizes your content and marketing activity into three buckets:
  • Stop — Things you’re doing that data suggests aren’t working (low-performing formats, topics with no traction, channels with poor ROI)
  • Start — New actions Beat recommends based on your strategy and audience
  • Continue — What’s working well and should be maintained or scaled
Use this section as a quarterly reset as much as a weekly one. If the same thing keeps showing up in “Stop,” it’s time to act on it.

Agent Findings

The Agent Findings grid surfaces deeper signals each Beat agent has noticed across your data:
  • Brand findings — Drift, off-voice content, gaps in positioning
  • SEO findings — Keyword opportunities, ranking shifts, cluster depth
  • Content findings — Pillar coverage, format mix, publishing cadence
  • Performance findings — Traffic patterns, top-performing pages, CTR opportunities
Each finding includes context, why it matters, and a link to act on it.

Flywheel Health

The Flywheel Health panel is a visual of where you are in the content marketing growth loop: Content → Discovery → Audience → Leads → Sales → Authority → Content Beat shows which stage of the flywheel is strongest and where there’s friction. If your content output is high but your Discovery (traffic) is low, Beat flags that as the bottleneck. If Discovery is solid but Leads are low, Beat focuses recommendations on conversion content.

How Brand Beat feeds the strategy

The specificity of your strategy recommendations is directly tied to how complete your Brand Beat is. A thin Brand Beat produces generic recommendations. A well-developed Brand Beat — with strong pillars, a specific ICP, clear goals, and training samples — produces recommendations that are genuinely actionable for your situation. If your Recommended Moves feel too generic, go to Brand Beat and strengthen the thin sections. The completion score on the Overview tab shows exactly where the gaps are.
