Connecting LinkedIn lets you publish posts from the UPBEAT OS social composer directly to your personal LinkedIn profile — immediately or scheduled for later. Beat writes LinkedIn-native content optimized for the platform’s format and character limits.

What this integration enables

Once connected, you can:
  • Publish LinkedIn posts directly from the social composer at /app/community
  • Schedule posts to go live at a specific date and time
  • Include links in posts (Beat formats these to work within LinkedIn’s link preview behavior)
  • View all scheduled LinkedIn posts in your Publishing queue at /app/publishing
UPBEAT OS publishes to your personal LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn Company Page publishing is not currently supported.

Prerequisites

  • A personal LinkedIn account
  • Your LinkedIn profile must be in good standing (no restrictions)

How to connect

1

Open Settings and scroll to **Integrations**

Navigate to /app/settings in UPBEAT OS.
2

Find the LinkedIn card

Scroll to the LinkedIn section and click Connect.
3

Sign in with LinkedIn

You’ll be redirected to LinkedIn’s OAuth authorization screen. Sign in with your LinkedIn credentials if prompted. Review the permissions UPBEAT OS is requesting and click Allow.
4

Confirm the connection

You’ll be returned to the Integrations page. The LinkedIn card should show a green Connected status with your profile name.

What you’ll see once connected

  • LinkedIn appears as a publishing destination in the social composer (/app/community)
  • Beat’s social post generation includes LinkedIn-specific formatting (hook lines, paragraph breaks, optimal length)
  • Scheduled LinkedIn posts appear in your Publishing queue

How to disconnect

Open Settings and scroll to Integrations, find the LinkedIn card, and click Disconnect. UPBEAT OS will no longer be able to publish to your LinkedIn profile. Posts already scheduled will fail to publish after disconnection.

Troubleshooting

Post failed to publish: LinkedIn access tokens expire periodically. If a post fails, disconnect and reconnect your LinkedIn account to refresh the token, then republish. I’m not seeing my LinkedIn profile in the composer: Confirm the LinkedIn card shows a green Connected status in Integrations. If it shows yellow or red, reconnect. LinkedIn changed my post formatting: LinkedIn applies its own rendering rules to post text. Long paragraphs may be truncated with a “…see more” cutoff. Beat formats posts to work within LinkedIn’s display constraints, but if a specific post is getting cut off, shorten it before publishing.
