/app/settings is where you configure every aspect of your UPBEAT OS account — from your personal profile to your subscription plan, email sending, integrations, and notification preferences.
Settings sections
Profile
Your personal and business information:- Name — Your full name, used in your sender identity and Beat’s personalization
- Email — Your account email address (used for login and account notifications)
- Company — Your business name
- Role — Your role or title (e.g., Founder, Marketing Lead)
- Website — Your primary website URL
- Timezone — Used for scheduling content and sending notifications at the right local time
Subscription
Manage your plan and billing:- Current plan — Shows whether you’re on Free, Starter, or Pro
- Usage stats — Articles used this month, Beat chat messages used, sequences created
- Upgrade / Downgrade — Switch between plans; changes take effect at your next billing date
- Billing management — Update your payment method, view invoices, cancel your subscription
Beat Autopilot
Configure Beat’s background drafting (Pro only):- Enable / Disable — Toggle Autopilot on or off
- Day schedule — Pick any combination of Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday — up to 3 days per week
- What gets drafted — Beat selects topics automatically based on your Brand Beat and strategy; you can’t specify topics here
Email Sender
Configure your email sending identity:- From name — How your name appears in recipients’ inboxes
- From address — The email address you send from (must be on your verified Resend domain when using BYO Resend)
- Sending route — UPBEAT shared sender (default) or Bring Your Own Resend
- Domain verification — Status of DKIM/SPF for your sending domain (BYO Resend only)
Integrations
Each card shows the integration name, a brief description of what it enables, and a Connect or Disconnect button. Available integrations:- Google Analytics 4
- Google Search Console
- WordPress
- LinkedIn (personal profile)
- Facebook / Instagram / Threads (Meta)
- Slack
- Resend (Bring Your Own)

Notifications
Control how and when UPBEAT OS communicates with you:- Daily digest — Enable/disable the daily email or Slack summary of your content activity
- Content-ready pings — Get notified when Autopilot finishes generating a draft
- Strategy updates — Get notified when your weekly strategy report is ready
- Slack alerts — Toggle individual notification types for your connected Slack channel
Danger Zone
At the bottom of the Settings page:- Sign out — Ends your current session
- Delete account — Permanently deletes your UPBEAT OS account and all associated data
Billing changes
To upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription, open Settings, scroll to Subscription, and click Manage billing. The Stripe billing portal opens with options to change plan, update payment method, download invoices, or cancel. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing period. Free users see an Upgrade → link instead — that routes through/pricing.
