The Performance dashboard at /app/performance gives you a unified view of your SEO health, search rankings, and traffic data. It’s where you see how your content is performing in the real world and where Beat surfaces your biggest growth opportunities.
The Performance dashboard requires a Starter or Pro plan and at least one data source connected — Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for traffic data, Google Search Console (GSC) for SEO and keyword data, or both. If the dashboard is empty, go to the Integrations section of Settings to connect them.

What the Performance dashboard shows

SEO Score

The hero metric at the top of the page. Your SEO Score is a 0–100 measure of your site’s overall search optimization health, powered by data from Google Search Console. A rising score means your content strategy is working. See the SEO Score guide for a detailed breakdown of what factors go into the score and how to improve it.

Topic clusters grid

Below the SEO Score, you’ll see your content organized into topic clusters. Each cluster groups related keywords and content pieces around one of your content pillars. Each cluster card shows:
  • Cluster name and content pillar
  • Number of pieces published in that cluster
  • Opportunity score (how much traffic potential remains)
  • Status indicators (Drafting / In Progress / Live)
Clusters with a high opportunity score and few published pieces are your biggest wins. Beat’s Recommended Moves on the Strategy page will often point here.

GA4 insights

If GA4 is connected, the bottom section shows:
  • Traffic trends — Page views and sessions over the past 30 days
  • Top pages — Your highest-traffic content and what’s driving the most visits
  • Engagement metrics — Average session duration, pages per session, bounce rate
Use GA4 data to see which content is actually driving traffic, not just what ranks.

GSC insights

If GSC is connected, you’ll also see:
  • Keyword rankings — Where your pages rank in Google search results
  • Click-through rate (CTR) — How often people click your listing when they see it
  • Impressions — How many times your content appeared in search results
  • Search queries — The specific keywords people are using to find your content
High impressions + low CTR means you rank for a keyword but your title or meta description isn’t compelling enough. That’s a quick win — update the headline and meta on that page.

In-flight draft status

When a topic cluster shows a “Drafting” badge, it means Beat’s autopilot (or you) has a draft in progress for that cluster. This helps you avoid creating duplicate content and shows which gaps are already being addressed.

What to do if the dashboard is empty

If you see empty panels or a message saying data isn’t available:
  1. Check your integrations — Go to the Integrations section of Settings and confirm both GA4 and GSC show a green “Connected” status.
  2. Wait for first sync — After connecting, it takes 24 hours for the first data pull to complete.
  3. Verify your plan — The Performance dashboard is only available on Starter and Pro.
If everything looks connected but data still isn’t showing after 48 hours, email help@useupbeat.com.
